The film I used for this particular shoot was out of date and had been kicking about my Dads house for a while, hence the odd speckles. I think some of the emulsion peeled right off the film. I haven’t yet found a decent place to get my film developed. Everyone I have been to has over exposed the film to compensate for the darkness even though I was going for a mainly silhouetted look. These were taken by my Dad near his house in East London. Halfway through the shoot he just looks at me, squints his eyes and states “Jess you’re a really bad model”. Cheers Dad, there is nothing like the unconditional love of your parents to boost your confidence eh?

i love the blemishes on the film! thats the beauty of film you never know what’s going to come up! and often you end up with happy accidents like these!
